AUBURN, Alabama—Coming to Auburn next week for his official visit, 5-star quarterback Julian Lewis was on campus Thursday with his Carrollton, Georgia High teammates for a 7-on-7 camp. Back for the second straight year to take part in the day and winning the title once again, it was yet another opportunity for the major quarterback target to throw in front of Hugh Freeze and his staff while also working on timing with his teammates.

“It’s cool getting a chance to compete against different schools,” Lewis said. “We don’t get a chance to compete against many Alabama teams. Just that chance to come out and compete against some of the best teams in Alabama is definitely interesting.

“It’s a blessing,” he said of performing in front of the Auburn staff. “It’s kind of how we set it up. Coach Freeze and all those guys are great people. I just have to keep working. It’s a blessing.”
