FAYETTEVILLE — Kuhio Aloy, the younger brother of University of Arkansas shortstop Wehiwa Aloy, has committed to joining him on the roster for the Razorbacks in 2025.

A member of the Big 12 All-Freshman team at BYU this season, Kuhio Aloy made the announcement on social media that he is transferring to Arkansas.

“Happy Alohog Friday Hawaiians!!!” Aloy wrote. “Committed!!! Let’s Go!!! Yessah!!!”

Aloy added the hashtags #brohogs and #RazorbackBSB to his post on X. The post featured Kuhio Aloy in a hype video wearing a Razorback jersey accompanied by the song “Country Boy” by the artist Maoli, featuring Fiji. His jersey No. 25, which is part of his X handle, was prominently displayed in the 23-second clip.

A 6-1 true freshman from Maui, Hawaii, Aloy hit .269.
