OL Kash Courtney flips commitment from Baylor to Arkansas

The Razorbacks are up to nine verbal commitments after flipping one from Baylor on Thursday.

Carthage (Texas) offensive lineman Kash Courtney has flipped his commitment from Baylor to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Courtney, 6-4, 285, went public with his decision on Tuesday, becoming the Hogs’ ninth verbal commitment for the Class of 2025.

Courtney was one of 13 official visitors in Fayetteville to start the month of June, and is now Arkansas’ second offensive line commitment of the class, joining Owasso (Okla.) three-star offensive tackle Blake Cherry. The Razorbacks are also now predicted to land a third offensive lineman in St. Could (Fla.) senior-to-be Connor Howes, who also visited on the opening weekend of June.

In addition to the Hogs and Bears, Courtney’s offer list also includes DukeHoustonWest VirginiaTexas Tech and others.

Arkansas’ eight other commitments include five on the offensive side in three-star quarterback Grayson Wilson of Conway (Ark.), three-star athlete Quentin Murphy of Little Rock (Ark.) Parkview, three-star running back Markeylin Batton of Atlanta (Texas), three-star wide receiver Kamare Williams of West Palm Beach (Fla.) Central, and three-star offensive lineman Blake Cherry of Owasso (Okla.).

The Razorbacks also have two defensive commitments in three-star linebacker Jayden Shelton of Dallas (Texas) South Oak Cliff and three-star safety Taijh Overton of Mobile (Ala.) Williamson. There’s one specialist committed, as well, in Bay St. Louis (Miss.) St. Stanislaus kicker Evan Noel.

Arkansas entered Tuesday with the nation’s No. 52 overall class and the No. 14 class in the SEC for the 2025 cycle.
