Jack Harrison ‘deal done’ as Leeds United exchange documents on Everton transfer
Jack Harrison is rejoining Everton on loan from Leeds United
Leeds United and Everton have reached an agreement over a second loan deal for winger Jack Harrison, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer expert posted on his official X account [21 June] that the two clubs are now exchanging documents before the deal is made official.
It emerged this week that the Toffees had entered talks with Leeds over taking Harrison to Goodison Park after his successful spell last season.
Everton are set to pay all of the player’s wages, but Leeds will not receive any sort of loan fee.
Jack Harrison set for another season with Everton
Losing Harrison is not a blow as such, given nobody expected him to be back at Elland Road next season, but not getting any sort of fee is a annoying to say the least.
A Premier League club should be expected to pay a sum of money as part of a loan deal, as well as the player’s wages.
Leeds only have themselves to blame, unfortunately, as this clause was written into the contract signed not long before Premier League relegation.
The Whites must now hope Harrison has a big impact in the top flight next season in order to keep his transfer valuation as high as possible when he can be sold.
Harrison has a rather mixed campaign at Goodison Park last time out, but Sean Dyche clearly liked him as he was a regular starter out wide.
