Auburn softball picked up its second commitment in a three-day span as Ole Miss transfer Ma’Nia Womack announced her plans to transfer to Auburn in a post to social media on Tuesday afternoon.

During her freshman campaign at Ole Miss in 2024, Womack, who was listed as a utility player, appeared primarily as a pinch runner and tallied seven runs for the Rebels. From the plate, Womack finished her first college season having gone 2-for-8 with a home run and 4 RBIs.

Coming out of Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, Womack helped her high school program to a pair of state titles in 2018 and 2021, and was ranked the No. 18 prospect in the 2023 class by Extra Innings Softball.

When Womack arrives to The Plains, she’ll reunite with a pair of familiar faces as Auburn’s newly hired pitching coach Ryker Chason helped recruit her to Ole Miss and Auburn’s newly hired assistant coach DJ Sanders was on Ole Miss’ staff last season.

In committing to the Tigers, Womack follows Oklahoma transfer pitcher SJ Geurin, who announced her commitment to Auburn on Sunday. Together, Womack and Geurin make up the first pair of players to join the Tigers since the hiring of co-head coaches Chris and Kate Malveaux on June 5.
