Tigers’ top prospect Max Clark posts breakout performance for West Michigan Whitecaps
Max Clark has reached base in all three of his games with the West Michigan Whitecaps since getting called up to High-A ball on Tuesday, but the Detroit Tigers’ top prospect really found his rhythm Thursday’s win over the Lansing Lugnuts.
The No. 3 pick in the 2023 MLB Draft went 3 for 5 with a triple, while driving in four runs and scoring the game-winning run on a walk-off balk as part of a three-run ninth inning in West Michigan’s 5-4 victory.
Max Clark in a statement after the game made mention about the offers coming his way, “I Know The Tigers Have Made Contacts With My Team A Couple Of Times, Well I’m Still Focused On Improving My Game And Hopefully We Work Out A Deal Soon”.
