The Minnesota Vikings have had one of the toughest off-seasons of recent memory. It seems like every week there is yet another worrisome report coming out of Minneapolis.  This time, the Vikings will be without another starter for the foreseeable future.

The Minnesota Vikings Lose Yet Another Starter For The Start Of The 2024 Season

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Vikings are placing offensive lineman Dalton Risner on IR. He will be eligible to come back after four games.

This offseason, Risner signed a one-year deal to return to the Vikings. As the roster is cut down to 53 before Tuesday’s deadline, this move will provide an additional roster spot.

He started 11 games for Minnesota the past season and 73 in his five-year career but was unable to play in training camp or preseason due to a back injury. Now he gets the chance to get healthy and make the 53-man roster.

Needless to say, Minnesota fans are getting pretty sick and tired of dealing with nonstop bad news:
