Jaylen Alexander talks about getting an offer from Auburn.
Taking an unofficial visit to Auburn in September, Oxford (Alabama) point guard Jaylen Alexander was back last to check out the Tigers at the Tipoff at Toomer’s and left with some big news. Spending time with the coaches and getting to see the team in action, Alexander came away with an offer from the Tigers and a huge moment for the 2026 prospect as his recruiting continues to take off.”It’s just a blessing from God,” Alexander tells Auburnundercover.com. “Coach (Chad) Prewett and the staff have been with me for a minute. Coach (Bruce) Pearl has been recruiting me for like three years now. It’s just a blessing and another step to my dream that I want to accomplish.”
The offer came following his visit for the Tipoff at Toomer’s that featured almost 10,000 fans packed around an outdoor court in the center of town. Alexander said it was a great experience and it made him feel even more of a bond with Auburn.
And he sees the Auburn Tigers having the better opportunity to earn his commitment.
