247Sports’ Mike Schaefer reports that Marks hasn’t visited the campus officially yet but has plans to in November when the Huskers host UCLA.
The lineman was reportedly planning to play on the offensive side of the ball for the Jayhawks but has experience to play on both sides of the field. He’s previously been recruited by Nebraska as a defensive lineman.
According to 247Sports, Marks is ranked as the 34th-best offensive tackle in the 2025 class and sixth-best at the position in the state of Kansas. Nationally, his 247Sports composite ranking is No. 387.
Besides Nebraska and Kansas, Marks previously fielded interest from Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn.
Marks originally committed to Kansas in June.
As of Tuesday, the Huskers are ranked No. 23 for its 2025 recruiting class and have 20 hard commits heading into next year. Marks is the sixth lineman in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports.
