Legendary grunge pioneers Alice in Chains have officially announced their return with a brand-new studio album and an accompanying world tour set for 2025. The news comes after months of speculation among fans and a few cryptic teasers from the band on social media.
The upcoming album, which remains untitled for now, will be the band’s first full-length release since Rainier Fog in 2018. According to insiders close to the group, the new material promises a return to their raw, heavy roots while also pushing into new sonic territory. Fans can expect a blend of haunting harmonies, sludgy guitar riffs, and deeply introspective lyrics that have defined Alice in Chains’ sound for over three decades.
