Alice In Chains Announces New Album And World Tour For 2025…

Legendary grunge pioneers Alice in Chains have officially announced their return with a brand-new studio album and an accompanying world tour set for 2025. The news comes after months of speculation among fans and a few cryptic teasers from the band on social media.

The upcoming album, which remains untitled for now, will be the band’s first full-length release since Rainier Fog in 2018. According to insiders close to the group, the new material promises a return to their raw, heavy roots while also pushing into new sonic territory. Fans can expect a blend of haunting harmonies, sludgy guitar riffs, and deeply introspective lyrics that have defined Alice in Chains’ sound for over three decades.

Lead guitarist Jerry Cantrell said in a statement, “This new record is one of the most personal and powerful things we’ve worked on. We’ve been through a lot in recent years, and that energy found its way into the music.”

Alongside the new album, Alice in Chains is also preparing to hit the road for a massive world tour that will kick off in North America in early summer 2025. The tour is expected to cover over 40 cities worldwide, including stops in Europe, South America, and Australia. Fans can anticipate a mix of new material and classic hits like “Man in the Box,” “Rooster,” and “Down in a Hole.”

Tickets for the tour are expected to go on sale in late spring, and the band has hinted at special guests joining them along the way.

With their powerful return, Alice in Chains continues to cement their legacy as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the Seattle grunge scene. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to their music, 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Alice in Chains and rock fans everywhere.
