Bruce Springsteen has delivered thrilling news to fans around the globe with the official announcement of a long-lost treasure trove of music. Titled Tracks II: The Lost Albums, this upcoming box set includes seven previously unreleased studio albums recorded between 1983 and 2012 — a goldmine of 83 tracks, 74 of which have never been heard before. Even more exciting is the earlier-than-expected kickoff to Springsteen’s 2025 world tour with the E Street Band, making this a monumental moment in rock history.
The legendary artist revealed that the albums, thought to be buried in his archives, were finalized during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the world on pause, Springsteen took the opportunity to revisit and complete these sessions — songs that had been left dormant for decades. Fans will be treated to the diverse sounds of Springsteen’s creative evolution, including the raw grit of The Ties That Bind, the reflective storytelling of Songs from Around the World, and the lush, cinematic scope of Inyo.
The collection will be released on June 27, 2025, and will come in two editions — a limited-edition 9-vinyl LP set and a 7-CD box set. Each includes a deluxe 100-page hardcover book featuring rare photos, recording notes, and a personal foreword by Springsteen. Music historians and die-hard fans alike are already calling it a once-in-a-lifetime release.
In celebration of this rediscovery, Springsteen and the E Street Band will begin their 2025 tour earlier than expected. The tour kicks off on May 17 in Manchester, England, and will crisscross Europe, wrapping up in Milan, Italy on July 3. With a renewed sense of creative fire, Springsteen is not just reviving his past — he’s giving it new life on stage.
This surprise drop of unreleased music combined with an energetic return to the road proves that Bruce Springsteen’s legacy is far from over. If anything, it’s entering a new golden era.
