The Beach Boys have officially announced their much-anticipated “Endless Summer Gold” tour, a sweeping musical journey across North America that pays tribute to their legendary 1974 compilation album Endless Summer. The tour, which kicked off in Honolulu, Hawaii on February 21, 2024, marks another milestone in the band’s storied legacy, bringing their iconic California sound to fans both old and new.
Led by founding member Mike Love and longtime Beach Boys bandmate Bruce Johnston, the tour features an energetic lineup including Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, and John Wedemeyer. While Brian Wilson will not be joining this tour, the group is set to deliver the classic harmonies and sun-soaked vibes that have defined their sound for decades.
The “Endless Summer Gold” tour spans from February through October 2024, with scheduled performances at some of the most iconic venues and music festivals across the United States. Highlights include appearances at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and major festivals like the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Stagecoach.
Adding to the tour’s appeal are special guest appearances. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Mason is slated to join the band on select dates starting in late May, bringing an extra layer of musical nostalgia to the stage. Actor and musician John Stamos, a longtime collaborator with the band, will also perform at various shows, including a standout night in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on July 5.
Fans attending the tour can expect a vibrant setlist filled with hits like “California Girls,” “Surfin’ Safari,” “Good Vibrations,” and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.” The “Endless Summer Gold” tour not only celebrates the band’s unparalleled contribution to American pop and rock music but also proves that the spirit of summer lives on through The Beach Boys.
With over 60 years of music under their belt, The Beach Boys are once again ready to make waves, uniting generations with a sound that continues to define an era
