Heavy metal titans Iron Maiden have officially expanded their much-anticipated “Run For Your Lives” world tour into 2026, thrilling fans worldwide with a fresh round of tour dates. Originally set to wrap up in August 2025, the tour’s massive global demand has pushed the band to keep the momentum rolling with additional shows well into the following year.
The tour began in May 2025 in Budapest, Hungary, and has since roared across Europe with sold-out performances and rave reviews. Known for their electrifying stage presence and elaborate production, Iron Maiden is pulling out all the stops for this run, celebrating their legendary 50-year career. The setlist leans heavily into the band’s early catalog, featuring hits from their first nine studio albums, including fan favorites from their 1980 self-titled debut through to 1992’s Fear of the Dark.
This extended tour also comes with a significant change to the lineup. Drummer Nicko McBrain, who has been a cornerstone of the band since 1982, officially stepped down from touring in late 2024. Taking his place is Simon Dawson, known for his work with Steve Harris’s side project, British Lion. Dawson has received high praise for his seamless integration into the group and his ability to deliver Iron Maiden’s classic sound with powerful energy.
The 2025 leg of the tour features major headline performances in iconic cities such as London, Paris, Berlin, and Madrid. Support acts have included the likes of Halestorm, Avatar, and The Raven Age, adding further excitement to each show. With the announcement of the 2026 leg, fans in North America, South America, and Asia are expected to get their chance to witness Iron Maiden live once again.
New tour dates are being added gradually, and tickets are expected to go on sale soon. Iron Maiden’s expanded tour promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, celebrating five decades of metal mastery on a truly global scale.
